When You Connect with Chicory it means:

Keep your face to the light and all will be made clear.

It is time to allow yourself to be seen for all your gifts and abilities, while also keeping healthy boundaries with those who may not truly see you for who you are.

Your greatest journey is within, where you carry deep nourishing medicine, so meditate and create sacred space to be present to your innermost workings.

Despite your experiences, nothing is ever truly lost and you are always deeply loved.

Remember to nourish yourself first so that you do not expend all your energy helping others.

Setting Intentions with Chicory:

Connect with the sun through different practices like yoga sun salutations, waking with the rising sun and offering prayers to the sun.

Work with affirmations to invoke self-love and self-care, which are vital for your continued growth.

Make peace with the institution of the church and allow yourself to let go and be free of any martyr energy connected with religion.

Create forgiveness with your mother or any mother energies in your life that need healing.

Make offerings and honor the Divine Mother energy in order to feel support, nurtured, nourished and held, and to balance the Divine Father energy within you.

If Chicory is a Totem for you:

You tend to keep your gifts and wisdom under wraps, but for those who take time to get to know you, there are many hidden gems that you carry.

Early morning is your power time and you get your best work done, and creative juices flowing, at this time of day.

When the weather is overcast, dark or raining, you tend to withdraw inward and don’t have as much enthusiasm for things.

You have a mothering energy about you, but need to learn balance in this so that you do not overprotect, guilt-trip, or energetically smother those you love.

Deep within you is strength, medicine and fortitude, and when you are connected with this awareness you can do anything, and with very little materials or necessities.
