Master teacher Ayahuasca (Banisteriopsis caapi) is blended with Chacruna (Psychotria viridis) in order to create the brew that is commonly referred to as Ayahuasca. The psychotropic effects of the brew would not happen without the Chacruna being added.
I made this essence using small shavings from a piece of Ayahuasca vine, as well as a Chacruna leaf, both from Peru. The vine and leaves have spent time on my altar and in many ceremonies before offering themselves to be made into an essence. These were used for essence energy only, and this is not a psychotropic essence.
